This terrific night picture shows a driveway on the Shanghai highway. In the background is the Nanpu Bridge, which crosses the Huangpu River. By an extremely high exposure time, the headlights of the individual cars are perceived only as an endless belt lights. It is this effect gives the picture an incredible dynamics. It draws the viewer into the wake of the top of the motorway. No man can be seen on the streets. The juggernaut of Mega-City has already pulled the single individual into the abyss.
